The Sunday Post (26 June)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly of Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I've had another busy week this week. I've been out for tea with the boyfriend twice. Something that really needs to stop if I want to eat healthy! I also went to the Bingo with a couple of friends this week, but unfortunately I didn't win a thing :(.

And finally I also heard some bad news last week. The Costa in my local Waterstones is closing in two weeks and I am gutted. I go there at least twice a week to get some reading done in my lunch hour and I have no idea what I'm going to do. I mean the staff know my order and everything.

And of course, there was the EU referendum last week and I'm actually not even going to go there other than to say our country has completely went to pot.

Last Week on the Blog

This Week on the Blog

I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things so I'm not going to post a schedule this week as I doubt I would have the time to stick to it.

Around the Blogosphere

Once again, I've not had much time to hop around the blogs. I feel so bad but I hope to have a nosy around everyone's soon.

What I Read Last Week

I haven't finished anything this week :(.

Currently Reading

A Study in Scarlet

What I Plan to Read This Week

Not If I See You FirstPaper Butterflies

Book Haul

Currently Listening To

Not muc this week.

Currently Watching

So many films that I have almost lost track, but we did watch Hook the other night. I also watched the latest Game of Thrones last week and how amazing was that! I can't wait to watch tonights but I'm slightly gutted that it's the season finale too.

  1. Sorry your week was so, so, Lauren...And I agree, let's not say anything about the EU vote... I think the whole of Europe is kind of in shock, actually.
I'm also sorry your Costa is closing :( that really sucks, they have such good coffee, too!
OF course, I'm a bit jealous about Nevernight... I wasn't accepted for that one, but I'll get it when it's released :)
Have a wonderful week and happy reading.

Feature and Follow (29 May)

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of  Parajunkee’s View  and Alison of  Alison Can Read . Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs! I'm one of the featured blogs this week! Along with Amanda of  The Darling Bookworm . This week’s Question: How many books have you got on your TBR list? I recently had a bit of a cull of my TBR list so now it is sitting at 269. I'm trying my hardest to get it below 200 by the end of the year but I really don't see it happening. I'd currently be happy if I managed to get it below 225. However, I did recently have a look through my TBR on Goodreads and deleted a few books that I don't think I will actually ever read - I'm not even to sure how they got there anyway.
